Ricardo and Irca
Ricardo and Irca just transitioned to Giovanna House from the Blue House to care for our teen girls with their daughter Briani. We are thankful for them!

Mercedes
Mercedes (Mercy) is 16 years old. She is shy, full of joy and so much fun! She is everyone's best friend. She has a servant’s heart, never wants anyone to be left out, and loves to work with others in serving. Mercedes is gaining ground lost in her younger years academically and we are super proud of her. She loves to dance, sing. !
Yamilex
Yamilex is 16 years old and she came to Josiah's House from another orphanage needing a permanent home. Yamilex has a lot of pain she is working through from her past but we see little glimmers of joy and hope coming through each passing day. She has accepted Christ and been baptized since she came and she loves to cook!! We can't wait to see how God continues to heal and restore her!
Melissa
Melissa is 16 years old and she is the middle child of three siblings that came to Josiah’s House after their mother passed. She has become a happy and affectionate girl, Melissa has a beautiful voice and she loves to sing, she gave her life to Christ after coming to Josiah's House! One day with tears in her eyes she confessed that she did not want to be the same as before, that she needed Jesus in her heart. God is working in a great way in her life. And we are blessed to have her here.
Louisa
Luisa is 17 years old, full of enthusiasm, joy and she has a contagious smile. She is a great student and works hard to keep her grades up. Luisa laughs a lot and loves to study the Bible and read. She loves the Lord and likes to express her worship in ballet and dance. Luisa graduated from Lemardo Christian school with honors and will be entering medical school in January. She has started translating for Score international working with medical teams and volunteering in Scores clinic.
Cristalina
Cristalina is 16 years old and is a very quiet and polite girl. She came from a very difficult situation but has over the last few years grown in her faith in Christ and worked through forgiveness. She was baptized this year and is a true beacon of light. She loves school and journaling and she always has outstanding grades. She is very talented and loves to create art like making jewelry and painting.
Marian
Marian is 13 years old and she came to us in the last few months. She started by saying I don't need what you have here, but in all reality it is exactly what she needed. She is growing and understanding who Jesus is to her. She is outspoken and strong because she has had to be. We are working with her and see her softening and changing.progress. .
